Even if it gives the possibility of unfairly hard situations or even impossible, it still makes the level generation fun and exciting and new, and you don't really lose anything, you can just restart the level. I wouldn't mind grinding all too much as long as there was something to mix it up every now and then. They know all the best possible strategies for everything because there's 0 variation in boss missions and almost none in gates. I've done runs with the most advanced of people, and to be honest, it's extremely boring. I'm probably not using that word correctly but I'll explain what I mean. Yeah yeah farm vanaduke or farm axes of evil or whatever, but this goes to my next pointĪll in the first point would be less annoying if the game had more variation.
SPIRAL KNIGHTS ADVANCED ORB OF ALCHEMY UPGRADE
Orbs and fires are so rare and expensive it takes way too much grinding to get enough to upgrade 1 piece of gear. Crowns reward is pretty low but constant and pretty reliable, so in that aspect it's alright. The amount of loot you get from a 10 minute or so late game mission is enough to get you 1/100th of a 5* weapon (not calculated, but my point is, not nearly enough). So I've been playing a while, but I'm not completely obsessed and know everything.Īs I said, way too much grinding. Oh, word of warning, before you read, jeep in mind I'm not a veteran but I have been playing since mist energy and I have 1 newly 5 star gear and 1 4-5 star. Well, except I actually think the core is the least fun) but it's countered by extreme grinding and not enough variation. It's pretty fun at it's core (haha get it. Ok, I love this game, I always will, but hear me out. I was always confused why until I had a sudden epiphany. I constantly try to get my friends to play spiral knights and only 1 stuck.
